THE owners of the traditional Currabeha House farmhouse have done the full make-over on the four-bed dwelling – but the 35’ by 15’ old lofted stone coach house behind could be the next owners’ personal project.
The property mix is on a quiet, sunny rural site at Crookstown, Co Cork.
Selling agent Brendan Bowe says the work done to the extended, T-shaped and long residence is to a very good standard, with lots of character in the various rooms, from exposed roof beams upstairs and down, including a brick surround around a solid fuel stove in one of the two reception rooms.
According to Mr Bowe (who seeks offers around €390,000) it has "exquisite rolling countryside views, and is a substantial property in terms of size, quality in terms of structure and design and exquisite charm in terms of character."
