A new selling agent, and a good chunk off the price, could see fresh eyes look over the six-bed detached house Brackendale, off Cork’s South Douglas Road.
Originally guided at €650,000 over a year ago, and then reduced to €510k after a break in the sales chain after going ‘sale agreed,’ it is now priced at €450,000 by auctioneers Frank V Murphy & Co.
The 25-year old detached, timber-framed house, operated for a period as a B&B, is at the centre of its quiet quarter acre site, with long approach drive. Near the Spar shop and new Park Avenue apartment scheme, it is within a walk of the city centre and a variety of schools.
