Gilmore: Tánaiste should have taken jobs offer

The Labour Party leader Eamon Gilmore has said the Tánaiste should have taken Michael O'Leary's arm off to get jobs to Dublin Airport.

Ryanair has said it is still not too late to secure up to 300 aircraft maintenance jobs here, but the airline's refusing to negotiate with the Dublin Airport Authority.

Mary Coughlan is underfire amid claims she didn't act to secure the jobs after SR Technics pulled out.

Mr Gilmore said he will demand she come into the Dáil tomorrow and explain her lack of action.
