Amnesty to highlight plight of Palestinians

Amnesty International is campaigning on the streets of Dublin, Cork and Galway today to highlight the plight of Palestinian people in accessing clean water.

The organisation will be handing out bottles of free water to the public, but the water is not safe to drink.

Colm O'Gorman from Amnesty said the idea is to highlight the fact that access to clean water is a basic human right, and one denied to the Palestinian people.
