Successful film producer Gregoire Canvell (Lencquesaing) has a good, even wonderful, life, with a loving wife and happy family and a career that goes from strength to strength.
The problem is everybody wants a slice of him, from demanding directors and actors to anxious backers … and as he comes under increasing pressure to deliver more than he has, and as his production company begins to come apart the choices he is forced to make turn into tragedy.
A sombre, well-made film with fine performances highlighting the often awful price of success.
