SINGER Morrissey was discharged from hospital yesterday, a day after collapsing on stage with breathing problems, the hospital treating him said.
The 50-year-old former frontman of 1980s pop band The Smiths had fallen ill just one song into his concert on Saturday at the Oasis Leisure Centre in Swindon.
He slumped to the floor and was taken offstage.
A hospital spokeswoman said: "Morrissey became unwell, and he was admitted overnight as a precautionary measure."
Morrissey has been touring Europe.
